“Courage Blooms” portrays a crowned figure standing with dignity amidst a storm of colour, conflict, and noise. The face is divided into contrasting expressions, revealing the duality that exists within every human being: confidence and doubt, joy and pain, strength and vulnerability.

The South African protea, held close to the heart, becomes more than a flower—it is a symbol of resilience, transformation, and hope. It reminds us that beauty often emerges after hardship and that our greatest strength is found in remaining open-hearted.

The crown floating above the figure represents the royalty that exists within every person—not wealth or status, but self-worth earned through perseverance.
